Description
Glubran 2 (0.5 ML) is a Class III synthetic surgical tissue glue manufactured by GEM S.r.l. in Italy. It utilizes the same advanced NBCA-MS co-monomer technology as the 1 ML version, designed to provide hemostasis, tissue sealing, and liquid embolization. The 0.5 ML volume is highly cost-effective and perfectly sized for smaller surgical interventions, laparoscopic procedures, pediatric surgeries, or localized tissue sealing. Upon contact with live tissue, it polymerizes into a thin, flexible, and impermeable film within seconds. The cured film exhibits a low polymerization temperature of 45°C, ensuring patient comfort and safety. It acts as a strong barrier against surgical site infections while naturally undergoing gradual hydrolytic resorption.
Key Features & Clinical Benefits
- Formulated with GEM’s proprietary NBCA-MS co-monomer technology.
