The NSK Primado2 High-Speed Surgical Motor System is the flagship bone-cutting and drilling system developed by Nakanishi Inc. (Kanuma, Japan) for neurosurgery, spine surgery, and otolaryngology. This system comprises three core components: the Primado2 Control Unit (P200-CU-120/230), the Primado2 Slim Motor (P200-SMH), and the Primado2 Foot Control (FC-73/74). The Slim Motor delivers a maximum speed of 80,000 RPM (up to 100,000 RPM with High Torque Motors), providing exceptionally smooth acceleration and stable rotation across all speeds. Its lightweight and compact design prevents surgeon hand fatigue during long procedures. The Control Unit features an automatic motor recognition system and an integrated high-performance irrigation pump. An open-pedal foot control (available in single or multi-function models) allows precise speed control, reverse rotation, and irrigation adjustment. The Primado2 system accepts a wide variety of P300 attachments, including straight, angled, craniotome, and saw attachments.
